CASE 5
Waterworks are often operated at an elevated pressure - accelerating leakage rates and causing aging infrastructure to fail at high frequencies. The established solution has been to reduce pressure using pressure reduction valves. These convert the potential energy to waste heat and annoying noice (cavitation)
We developed a compact pressure control turbine - it will generate the desired downstream pressure (at any given point in time) and convert the delta between inlet and downstream pressure to electric energy which you can utlise on site or sell to the grid. Dual rotor - no vibrations - no noice - no wasted heat. Just usable power!
