Emissions to air
Our involvement in the field of emissions to air are primarily related to emissions from the maritime industry – ships.
We have experience from the development of IMO MARPOL Annex VI- Regulations for the Prevention of Air pollution from Ships which was adopted in 1997 and have since worked on related issues with focus on emission management as well as on emission abating technologies.
Recently we took the initiative to develop a new NOx emission abating technology based on technology arriving from a new Nitrous – N2O emission reducing catalyst. The technology is developed in cooperation with Merit Maritime Innovations AS, a company in which Mentum is a co-founder as well as shareholder.
